We call our curriculum HuDeBa (Human Development Based) curriculum.

The integrated approach, small group learning, modular system, professional and personal development, structured basic sciences and clinical teaching are the hallmark of curriculum.

Research has been incorporated in the curriculum, right from first year. The Department of Undergraduate Research (UMR), which is taking care of this part of the curriculum, is rightly proud of this pioneering work.

We have opted for the latest modes of curriculum development, learning, teaching and assessment methods within the framework of concerned regulatory bodies. A separate Department of Medical Education (DME) has been established for this purpose which continuously reviews and improves the curriculum and monitors and evaluates the academic activities and faculty development programs. More than 90% of the teachers have already gone through the various related workshops conducted by locally and foreign facilitators. The faculty has also been provided opportunity of foreign visits to further strengthen their capacity in their required area.

The Department of IT and Medical Informatics has been very actively involved in developing various software’s for data collection, assessment and information to students and their parents. Each student and the parent/guardian have been allotted a separate password to access the information regarding their academic progress.

We strongly believe that an institution cannot be better than its teachers. We are lucky to have the best talent from within the country and abroad and are genuinely proud of our magnificent human resources which is the back bone of our institutions.

To provide a conducive teaching and learning environment, the physical facilities are also second to none. The magnificent college campuses are spread over an area of more than Sixty Kanal (30,000 square yard) with resident hostels and teaching hospitals.

Our commitment is to give the best possible facilities to young doctors and expect them to reciprocate with full commitment and devotion in their studies for the better future of the nation and the mankind.

It is well said that actions speak louder than words. The students of first two batches who are now eligible to sit in postgraduate exams have excellent performance. More that 30% of our own students have already passed part 1 of the FCPS (the highest post graduate exam in Pakistan) and also international exams. It is the highest passing rate comparing to any other private or public sector Medical Colleges of Khyber Pakhthunkhwa. PMC is genuinely proud on this excellent performance of its students and teachers. In addition to this, a considerable number of these young doctors have also joined the M Phil, Ph D and other postgraduate programs. The first batch of postgraduate trainees has also successfully completed and passed their M Phil examination and have now become part of the teaching faculty in the college.
